Senior Project Manager

Role overview This senior project management position focuses on delivering laboratory informatics solutions to life sciences clients, with an emphasis on platforms spanning sample management, instrument data integration, workflow setup, and scientific data analysis. The role sits within a growing customer success organization, where the successful candidate will lead deployments and major enhancement projects end-to-end, applying an agile methodology while partnering closely with program leadership to scale team capacity and ways of working.

Responsibilities - Prime deployments and large enhancement projects, owning success from kick-off through go-live. - Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, balancing scope, timelines, and resourcing needs. - Apply agile deployment methodology to keep customers closely engaged throughout delivery. - Partner with program leadership to secure appropriate staffing and shape scalable PM processes. - Plan and lead external client workshops, documenting project plans and presenting recommendations. - Advise customers on best practice for business change, transformation, and adoption of laboratory informatics tools.

Requirements - Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within Life Sciences. - Familiarity with LIMS, ELN, or SDMS software environments, or the ability to learn these processes quickly from first principles. - Track record of managing internal and external stakeholders, including planning and leading client workshops and documenting project plans. - Strong organizational skills, with the ability to deliver agreed workload within deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and fact-finding skills, with experience advising on best practice during business change. - BS/BA degree or equivalent in a Life Science (e.g., molecular biology, chemistry) preferred.
