What's the Short Version?
The Data Analyst, MH&P works directly with stakeholders in Distribution, IT, and other SanMar business areas to provide subject matter expertise in the flow and transformation of data through warehouse processes. This role develops a deep understanding of data inputs, transformations, and outputs and effectively communicates those data paths at both individual and aggregate levels to support strategic and tactical decision-making. As a member of the Distribution Systems and Processes (MHaP) team, the Data Analyst is responsible for the analysis, configuration, administration, and support of distribution-facing systems and processes. This includes supporting Körber WMS and related SQL databases, Pick/Pack/Ship services, Labor Management Systems (LMS), slotting, reporting, and dashboard solutions that enable scalable, reliable, and efficient distribution operations.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Acquire data from primary and secondary sources, validate data integrity, filter corrupt records, and prepare clean, structured datasets for analysis and reporting.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies in complex datasets while using descriptive and predictive analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using business intelligence tools that make complex data accessible and actionable for non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide business intelligence and reporting to Distribution stakeholders to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Generate scheduled and ad hoc reports in response to business needs.
- Partner with MHaP analysts, process teams, and engineers to provide data supporting continuous improvement initiatives and report on actual results, ROI, and ROPI.
- Collaborate with IT and Distribution stakeholders on the design, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business tools and systems.
- Configure and maintain WMS and related system data, including site configuration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
- Oversee LMS administration and data recertification as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years experience in data analysis, supply chain or warehouse logistics analysis preferred
- Solid knowledge of technology-based distribution systems and tools, with experience in SanMar systems preferred; such as HighJump/Körber WMS, SQL databases and reporting tools, Exacta WCS, Easy Metrics, and AutoStore
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to effectively analyze and present information effectively to stakeholders
- Strong data visualization, reporting, and data storytelling skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization and vendor partners.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills; ability to learn quickly and resolve issues self-sufficiently
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent prioritization, problem-solving, and organizational skills with an appropriate sense of urgency
- Experience with statistical analysis experience preferred
- Lean Six Sigma experience preferred
- Flexible with schedule, able to provide off-hours support either remotely, or onsite, as needed
- Ability to travel infrequently as needed to support SanMar distribution network (up to 10%) preferred
What's Our Offer?
Salary Range: You`ll earn between $80,170 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?
- Remote: Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST.
- Periodic travel may be required.
- The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual and in-person meetings.
- Frequent use of hands for keyboarding and standard office equipment is required.
- Occasional standing, walking, and reaching may be needed to attend meetings or collaborate in an office setting.
