About this role
Role overview This role partners with business leaders to turn unclear performance challenges into structured investigations and practical recommendations. It combines healthcare and pharmacy context, analytical judgment, and stakeholder influence to explain what is happening, explore why, and help teams decide what to do next. The work may involve imperfect data, competing priorities, and problems without an established playbook.
Responsibilities - Lead complex projects from defining the problem through analysis, recommendation, implementation, and measurement of results. - Frame ambiguous business questions as workable analytical approaches and translate findings into actions. - Combine information from different sources, partners, and operational processes to identify drivers and opportunities. - Present findings, assumptions, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences, including senior leaders. - Develop analytical frameworks, business cases, and decision support tools to make choices more transparent. - Challenge assumptions, influence priorities with evidence, and pursue sustainable improvements in performance.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree and at least five years solving complex business problems in analytics, operations, strategy, consulting, informatics, engineering, or a related field. - Experience defining problems and creating analytical approaches or solutions where no established process existed. - Strong critical thinking, including the ability to synthesize diverse or incomplete information and make recommendations amid uncertainty. - Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting complex findings to senior leaders. - A record of using evidence and structured reasoning to influence decisions and drive action, not only produce reports. - Experience with healthcare, pharmacy, claims, or population health data, and familiarity with analytical tools such as SQL, Python, or business intelligence platforms.
Nice to have An advanced degree in a quantitative, analytical, or business discipline is mentioned as a preferred qualification. Experience with payer, prescription claims, membership, operational, marketing, or financial information is relevant to the work.
