Role overview A senior architect position embedded within a professional services organization that partners with major life sciences enterprises to design and deliver AI-driven, agent-based solutions. The role blends deep platform expertise with strategic advisory work, helping large pharmaceutical and biopharma organizations modernize commercial and clinical operations through emerging technologies and reusable implementation patterns.
Responsibilities - Act as a principal technical advisor to enterprise clients on agent-based AI platforms tailored for life sciences use cases - Lead internal initiatives that strengthen the consulting practice, contributing reusable patterns, playbooks, and expertise to the broader community - Translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and propose prescriptive, creative solutions to business problems - Identify and mitigate delivery risks, drive issues to full resolution, and negotiate solutions with customers and third-party partners - Review program direction, architecture decisions, and key deliverables to keep implementations maintainable and scalable - Collaborate with delivery managers, solution architects, and client teams to shape technology roadmaps and platform strategy
Requirements - 8+ years of enterprise architecture or consulting experience, including 4+ years leading core platform implementations - Strong skills in application design, data modeling, security architecture, and integration patterns - Background in life sciences, particularly pharmaceutical commercial operations, field force engagement, HCP/HCO relationship management, or regulatory compliance - Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to create audience-appropriate materials and defend a point of view - Detail-oriented learner who can quickly absorb new concepts, business models, and technologies - Proven ability to design, analyze, and optimize enterprise solutions at scale
