Founding Engineer, Email Infrastructure

Role overview Own the email sending path from queued messages through delivery and event processing. The work combines building core infrastructure with hands-on deliverability operations, including work that can affect whether messages reach their intended destinations.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain the message queue that feeds the sending process. - Develop the layer that connects the system to delivery providers. - Own the event pipeline associated with sending and delivery. - Work on a direct delivery engine as part of the sending infrastructure. - Manage deliverability tasks such as warming IP addresses, handling feedback loops, and seeking removal from blocklists.
