Senior Software Engineer - JTX

Role overview Build core systems for a new trading product that brings fast, capable on-chain trading workflows to users. As an early engineer, you will shape the architecture and own critical services connecting order routing, execution, market data, and position management to Solana’s transaction and block-building pipeline.

Responsibilities - Design and implement core product systems from the ground up. - Build reliable, low-latency services that interact with transaction execution and block-building infrastructure. - Own key trading systems, including order routing, execution, real-time market data, and position management. - Protect transactions, keys, and user data through security-conscious engineering. - Make significant architecture decisions and collaborate with product and infrastructure teams. - Iterate quickly in response to feedback from real users.

Requirements - At least five years of software engineering experience, including substantial work with distributed systems. - Strong systems programming skills; Rust is preferred, while deep experience in C++, Go, or a similar language is relevant. - Track record delivering reliable, low-latency systems in production. - Security-first approach that considers attack surfaces, key management, and failure modes during design. - Comfort working autonomously in an early-stage product with incomplete information. - Familiarity with Solana’s runtime, transaction lifecycle, or market mechanics such as MEV and block building is an advantage.

Nice to have - Experience with trading or exchange infrastructure, DeFi protocols, fintech systems such as payments or custody, high-frequency systems, or security engineering.
