About this role
Role overview Help maintain and improve three live mobile apps serving agricultural users and a produce marketplace. You’ll fix field-reported issues, refine app screens, and ship features for iOS and Android, with particular attention to offline use and performance on lower-end Android devices.
Responsibilities - Investigate and fix bugs and crashes reported by users. - Build and improve app screens and user flows with React Native and Expo. - Improve reliability when connectivity is limited or unavailable. - Consider performance and usability on lower-end Android phones. - Write tests for changes and review teammates’ code.
Requirements - Experience with React Native or React, including experience from personal or class projects. - Comfort with JavaScript or TypeScript and Git. - Ability to understand and work within an existing codebase. - Care for app usability on slow devices and poor connections. - Availability to contribute a few hours each week on a consistent basis.
