Role overview
This is a senior hands-on engineering role focused on shaping and delivering complex multi-domain systems across cloud, data, and AI/ML. The position suits an experienced engineer ready to take on larger pieces of architecture while still contributing directly to implementation. Work happens embedded on cross-functional delivery teams in partnership with architects, engineers, and product, shipping solutions that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to architectural design across cloud, data, and AI/ML systems, owning meaningful components end-to-end - Build cloud-native solutions including microservices, serverless functions, and containerized workloads - Implement infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring, logging, and observability tooling - Design data architectures including pipelines, warehouses, and modeling - Support AI/ML system design including model serving, MLOps, and integration of LLM-based capabilities - Maintain architecture documentation for reproducibility and onboarding, and participate actively in design reviews
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on exposure to architectural decision-making - Strong Python proficiency plus at least one additional modern-stack language such as Java, Scala, or TypeScript - Working knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures, including microservices, serverless, containerization, and event-driven systems - Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, relational and NoSQL databases, and ETL/ELT concepts - Familiarity with AI/ML system design including model deployment, MLOps, and LLM integration - Awareness of networking, security, identity and access management, and compliance fundamentals such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC2
Nice to have
- Day-to-day usage of AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude and Cursor - Comfort navigating ambiguous technical challenges with sound judgment
