Senior Software Engineer I

Role overview This is a remote Senior Software Engineer I role focused on improving development processes, quality, and techniques to deliver high-quality software solutions. The position follows Lean and agile practices (Scrum or Kanban) and emphasizes continuous delivery, automated testing, and mentorship within the team.

Responsibilities - Apply a Lean approach to product development, choosing agile workflows such as Scrum or Kanban based on team direction. - Evaluate and adopt new technologies to ensure the tech stack supports high-quality software delivery. - Drive continuous delivery, automated testing, and continuous integration improvements. - Provide mentorship to team members on engineering practices and craft. - Work with event-driven serverless development concepts and the Angular framework. - Develop robust, secure code while maintaining engineering quality standards.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, including 2+ years of hands-on work with: Visual Studio Code; GitHub; SQL; Sencha (Ext JS); JavaScript and TypeScript; ReactJS; Redux; AWS; XML; and XSLT.

Nice to have - Comfort working in event-driven serverless architectures. - Experience with Angular alongside ReactJS.

Benefits and work setup - Remote position within the U.S. - Salary range of $100,000–$192,000 per year.
