Role overview This summer internship sits inside the corporate services function of a large real estate investment portfolio, supporting the development and optimization of financial and investment models through technology and automation. The intern gains hands-on exposure to analyzing complex financial data, modernizing Excel-based workflows, and translating spreadsheet models into scalable code. The program runs June through August and is designed for students who want practical experience at the intersection of real estate investment, financial modeling, and software development.
Responsibilities - Assist in analyzing and assessing complex financial models to identify opportunities for efficiency and accuracy improvements. - Support analysis of investment data to surface insights and clarify key financial drivers. - Use modern technology tools to streamline Excel workflows and reduce manual or repetitive processes. - Write and maintain code that ingests and exports data between Excel files and databases. - Help translate components of Excel-based models into C# code for use in web-based applications. - Support testing, documentation, and improvement of existing models and procedures. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and technical requirements. - Gain exposure to real estate equity and debt investment concepts and how they appear in financial models.
Requirements - Current junior undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution graduating in 2028, or current master's student graduating in 2028. - Minimum GPA of 3.2. - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. - Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple demands and shifting priorities while staying detail-focused and tech-savvy.

Benefits and work setup - Hourly base compensation of $45.00, with the role supporting a 2027 summer analyst internship program beginning June 2027 and running through August 2027.
