Remote job
Product Manager, Data Products
Job details
About this role
Role overview Own a slice of a Data-as-a-Service portfolio end to end, including the vision, roadmap, pricing, packaging, and how it reaches the market. The product set enriches customer first-party data and profiles high-value prospects, delivered through file transfer, marketing technology integrations, cloud data warehouses, clean rooms, real-time APIs, and self-service trials. It's a role for a product manager who wants to carry work from requirements all the way through adoption, not just own a feature inside someone else's platform.
Responsibilities - Set vision and roadmap for assigned Data-as-a-Service products, and write the business cases, success metrics, requirements, and user stories behind them - Run backlog, refinement, and sprint ceremonies in Jira alongside an agile engineering team - Collaborate with data science and engineering to apply AI and machine learning techniques to owned products, weighing trade-offs of each approach - Own pricing, packaging, and distribution, partnering with commercial teams and expanding reach through data marketplaces, self-service trials, and partner integrations - Partner with Legal and Engineering to keep licensed data delivery inside privacy obligations, including opt-out handling and constraints in regulated categories - Bring products to market with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, shaping positioning and backing teams with feasibility reviews and analysis - Instrument launches with tracking and reporting, then turn results into the next investment decision
Requirements - 5+ years as a product manager or product owner in data products, martech, or adtech, with products carried through launch and adoption - Hands-on experience with data enrichment or appends against first-party records and large-scale delivery via file transfer, data sharing, clean rooms, or APIs - Working knowledge of AI and ML workflows, technologies, and architectures, enough to weigh trade-offs with data science directly - Familiarity with identity resolution and consumer data ecosystems, plus consumer data privacy for licensed data, state privacy law, opt-out handling, and regulated categories - Fluency in agile product delivery: backlog management, refinement, sprint ceremonies, and Jira - Ability to write specs and vision documents that surface the reasoning behind a problem, not just the resulting requirements
Nice to have - Experience building or deploying products distributed through a data marketplace or offered as a self-service trial - Background owning pricing and packaging for data products, or working in a regulated vertical such as financial services - Hands-on exposure to AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, clean rooms, agentic frameworks, or MCP server-based data access
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first environment with occasional travel for company and client events and offices available for in-person collaboration - Base salary range of $130,000 to $150,000, plus eligibility for an annual bonus tied to company performance - Medical, dental, and vision coverage including HSA, company-paid disability and life insurance with a buy-up option, 401(k) with company match, flexible PTO plus 10 paid holidays, paid parental leave, and access to wellbeing and employee assistance programs
