Role overview A remote-first e-commerce organization is hiring a Video Editor to join an in-house Growth Marketing team. The role blends hands-on video editing with static ad design, producing performance-driven creative that reaches millions of customers across paid social, YouTube, and connected TV. It is a hybrid creative-and-data position reporting to a senior designer on the growth team.
Responsibilities - Edit and repurpose short-form video for paid social, YouTube, and CTV, testing variations in hooks, ad bodies, and footage combinations to identify top performers. - Build and maintain efficient workflows that support daily and weekly creative output. - Pitch new creative concepts and iterate on existing assets based on performance data and testing results. - Design net-new static image ads in Figma for both promotional and evergreen campaigns. - Collaborate with marketing directors, growth platform leads, and fellow designers to brainstorm and ship rapid creative tests. - Stay current on digital advertising trends, competitor creative, and platform best practices while pushing visual quality forward.
Requirements - 2–5 years of video editing and design experience with a portfolio of performance-driven digital creative. - Strong short-form editing skills in Adobe, Premiere, CapCut, or AI creative tools such as Firefly. - Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma. - Experience tracking performance metrics such as CTR and hook rate and running structured creative testing cadences. - Ability to balance speed, quality, and performance in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment. - Excellent time management, communication, and collaboration skills.
