1163 - 2D/3D Animator - Children's Content & Explainer Videos

Role overview A remote animation role focused on creating 2D and/or 3D animations for children's content aimed at ages 8 to 12 and for explainer videos. The animator will bring scripts and storyboards to life through clear, engaging motion and character performance, collaborating with a creative team to meet timelines and quality standards. The position is a full-time contract for candidates based in Latin America working remotely with an international client.

Responsibilities - Create 2D and/or 3D animations for children's content targeting ages 8 to 12 and for explainer videos. - Bring scripts and storyboards to life with clear, engaging motion and character performance. - Work with the creative team to meet project timelines and quality standards. - Incorporate feedback and deliver polished final files. - Keep visual style and storytelling appropriate for a young audience.

Requirements - Two to three years of professional experience in 2D and/or 3D animation. - Proven experience producing children's animation for ages 8 to 12 and explainer videos. - A strong portfolio featuring projects aimed at this target audience. - Experience with Adobe Animate, Photoshop, and Illustrator. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work with feedback and deadlines.

Nice to have - Experience with Toon Boom Harmony for 2D work and/or Blender or Cinema 4D for 3D work.

Benefits and work setup - Full-time remote contract engaged through a payroll platform. - Compensation in the range of USD 1,800 to 2,400 per month, depending on seniority and skill set.
