Senior Frontend Engineer

Role overview Own the front-end experience across a contractor-focused product, from the public marketing site and customer onboarding to the core dashboard and embedded widgets. The work combines architecture, performance, and interface craft, with the goal of making key journeys fast, accessible, and effective at converting and retaining users.

Responsibilities - Set front-end architecture across the marketing site, application shell, and embedded widgets. - Lead a static site generation migration to improve page load times, targeting under 1.5 seconds. - Create a design system with shared tokens, interface primitives, motion, and accessibility patterns. - Pair regularly with a designer to shape and implement interfaces collaboratively. - Track Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse results, and page-speed regressions, then address issues.

Requirements - At least five years building production React applications. - Experience owning front-end work, ideally in a small team. - Strong TypeScript skills and a clear approach to CSS and performance budgets. - Ability to work in codebases that combine server-rendered HTML, React islands, and embedded widgets. - Careful engineering habits, including reviewing your own changes before submitting them.
