Desktop UI Developer (AI Software)

Role overview Build and refine the interface for a desktop AI development environment that brings together code editing, visual tools, AI agents, and multimedia capabilities. You will own UI features from interaction design through integration and visual polish, working across a complex application with dynamic content and frequent updates.

Responsibilities - Develop interactive screens, components, and workflows for a desktop application. - Turn product and design concepts into polished, production-ready interfaces. - Integrate UI elements implemented with different technologies, including dynamically generated interfaces. - Create custom interactions, animations, graphics, and visual elements. - Manage asynchronous operations, real-time updates, and complex application states while maintaining responsiveness and performance. - Contribute to UI architecture and collaborate with backend, AI, product, and design colleagues.

Requirements - At least 3 years developing complex, interactive interfaces for desktop or other applications. - Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++, plus experience with JavaScript. - Understanding of UI architecture, component design, state management, and interaction patterns. - Experience creating custom components, animations, graphics, or non-standard interactions. - Experience with asynchronous programming, multithreading, and performance tuning. - Attention to usability and visual detail; ability to adapt to changing requirements and learn new technologies. - Interest in AI-powered development tools, English at B1 level or higher, fluent Russian, and examples of relevant work.

Nice to have Experience with Qt, PySide, PyQt, QML, or Qt Quick; advanced animation, 2D/3D graphics, rendering, visualization, or multimedia; production design systems or design handoff; or developer tools, editors, creative software, and AI applications.

Benefits and work setup Full-time remote work under a service provider contract, flexible hours, and compensation in EUR or USD.
