Remote job
Senior Solutions Architect
Job details
About this role
Role overview A senior customer-facing architect role on an AI-native software delivery platform. The architect works alongside enterprise customers to understand how they truly ship code—their branching strategies, review culture, security gates, and unwritten approval rules—and translates that reality into workflow-driven architectures rather than idealized designs. This is a founding position shaping a young product line, where solutions proven in one account become reusable patterns for every account that follows.
Responsibilities - Own the technical relationship end to end: discovery, architecture and security review, proofs of value, and the closing conversation with an engineering leader. - Expand each account from the first workflow to the second and third, across new logos and the existing customer base. - Build workflow prototypes, custom steps, and integrations directly against customer GitHub or GitLab, Jira or Linear, Slack, and existing CI systems. - Carry customer feedback back into the product and engineering roadmap as structured, prioritized input. - Turn every deployment into a reusable pattern—reference architecture, workflow template, or documented approach that others can run without direct help. - Lead security questionnaires, architecture reviews, compliance conversations, and RFP inputs, and deliver technical workshops and executive briefings tailored to each audience.
Requirements - Seven or more years in technical roles, with significant customer-facing architecture experience such as solutions architecture, principal or lead pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, professional services, or founding engineer work with design partners. - Hands-on coding ability; able to land in an unfamiliar codebase and CI setup and produce working proofs within days. - Comfortable in at least one ecosystem common to customers: PHP and Symfony, JavaScript and TypeScript, Python, or Go. - Genuine fluency in modern SDLC practice: Git workflows, CI/CD, testing strategy, code review, release management, and the failure modes that emerge at scale. - Solid cloud and infrastructure competence covering containers, environments, secrets handling, cloud primitives, and the realities of running production systems. - Real AI-native
experience: building with agents, not just consuming them—multi-step agentic workflows, tool and MCP integration, context engineering, model evaluation, and awareness of governance, audit, and cost control.
Nice to have - Value-selling fundamentals that anchor technical conversation in business outcomes and let you tell an engineering value story.
