An intermediate-level DevOps Engineer position sits inside a remote-first engineering organization that spans Asia and Europe. The mission centers on keeping a SaaS platform reliable and scalable, making the observability stack genuinely actionable, and reducing friction in build and release so product teams can ship with confidence. AI tooling is treated as a first-class part of the workflow, paired with a strong emphasis on validating the output it produces.
Responsibilities
- Maintain availability, reliability, and security of the SaaS platform across environments - Build and operate CI/CD pipelines that make build, test, and release fast, safe, and self-service for engineering squads - Use Infrastructure as Code to automate provisioning and ongoing management - Implement and refine observability tooling covering metrics, logs, and traces so teams can understand system behavior and act on it - Monitor platform capacity and performance, forecasting resource needs before they bite - Investigate and resolve production incidents, contribute to root cause analysis, and drive preventive follow-up - Help engineering teams integrate their services smoothly within the shared platform infrastructure - Apply AI tools to accelerate automation scripting and infrastructure work, with the judgment to review and validate what they produce
Requirements
- Minimum of three years working as a DevOps or SRE Engineer - Strong grasp of core DevOps principles: CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and configuration management - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS - Practical experience with containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes - Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI - Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK - Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go - Clear written communication and reliable asynchronous collaboration in a remote setting
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI tools applied to infrastructure automation, paired with a disciplined validation workflow - Experience with Terraform or comparable infrastructure automation tooling - Background working on a SaaS platform or other public software product - Understanding of security best practices within a DevOps environment - Self-directed and curious mindset, taking ownership and driving growth without waiting to be pushed
