Role overview
A remote opportunity based in Australia for a deeply technical architect who owns the post-sales technical partnership with a portfolio of strategic accounts. The role centers on designing and guiding complex observability implementations across modern infrastructure and application environments, acting as the technical authority for long-term customer success. It blends hands-on architecture and troubleshooting with strategic relationship building, enablement, and product feedback advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of strategic customers, owning the long-term technical relationship. - Design and lead each customer's observability maturity journey, including technical discovery, onboarding, and ongoing enablement. - Deliver expert-level troubleshooting, run regular health checks and technical reviews, and lead root-cause analyses that affect satisfaction and retention. - Co-develop and execute technical roadmaps with client engineering, SRE, and architecture teams. - Spot opportunities for customers to optimize cost, expand usage, and adopt new product capabilities. - Channel customer feedback to engineering and product management, acting as the internal voice of the customer. - Run training sessions, workshops, and produce technical documentation and guides.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a senior architect, solutions architect, or technical consultant in observability, monitoring, or adjacent infrastructure domains. - Deep familiarity with modern cloud-native infrastructure, application environments, and telemetry pipelines. - Strong customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discovery, design reviews, and executive conversations. - Demonstrated ability to drive adoption and ROI across complex enterprise accounts. - Comfort with hands-on troubleshooting, reference architecture design, and incident pattern analysis. - Proven ability to collaborate alongside engagement managers and onboarding teams to own the full customer lifecycle.
