About this role

Role overview The Site Reliability Engineer will support an antifraud team dedicated to preventing financial crime through AML, anti-fraud, and KYC platforms. The work centers on real-time transaction screening at scale, where every check must complete instantly without slowing the user experience, and includes biometric verification and integration with diverse data sources for scoring and customer profiles.

Responsibilities - Maintain reliability, availability, and performance for financial crime prevention platforms handling real-time traffic - Contribute to design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance with a focus on scalability and fault tolerance - Track service-level metrics and partner with DevOps engineers on infrastructure improvements - Write and maintain deployment scripts, configuration files, Helm charts, and CI/CD job definitions - Triage infrastructure issues, resolve product failures, and run incident investigations through root cause analysis - Take part in on-call rotations and keep technical documentation current

Requirements - At least two years in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering for web services - Working knowledge of multi-component system architecture, including load balancing and fault tolerance - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm - GitLab CI/CD skills covering pipelines, templates, secrets handling, and containerization - Comfort with observability tooling such as Prometheus or VictoriaMetrics and the ELK stack, using frameworks like RED, USE, and the Four Golden Signals to build dashboards and alerts - Familiarity with SLI/SLO thinking, error budgets, incident response, and scripting in Bash or Python

Nice to have - Background with relational databases, key-value stores, or Kafka - B1 or higher English for collaborating with a distributed international team
