Role overview

This Technical Onboarding Manager role centers on guiding new customers through integration with a healthcare interoperability platform that connects thousands of systems and processes over a billion healthcare messages monthly. The position sits at the intersection of healthcare domain expertise and client-facing technical leadership, helping vendor, provider, payer, and life sciences customers adopt the platform successfully from contract through go-live. The manager collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure each customer achieves its integration and clinical data exchange goals.

Responsibilities

- Lead multiple concurrent customer onboarding projects from contract assignment through go-live, balancing competing priorities and stages of progress - Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers prepare technically and operationally for integration outcomes - Guide customers through API training, troubleshooting, and best-practice usage of platform tools - Partner with customers and their downstream partners to integrate with initial sites and end points - Create onboarding documentation and learning management system collateral, and maintain internal records on customers and processes - Stay current on product enhancements and industry trends, translating changes into customer guidance

Requirements

- 5+ years in a technical, client-facing role, ideally in healthcare IT, EHR implementation, or related SaaS - Hands-on experience with healthcare integration standards and formats such as HL7v2, FHIR, X12, and C-CDA, plus familiarity with modern APIs - Deep understanding of clinical workflows and direct experience with Electronic Health Record systems - Demonstrated ability to translate customer business needs into technical solutions and troubleshoot complex issues - Proven success managing a portfolio of concurrent software projects to completion - Self-directed work ethic with the ability to operate autonomously, plus proficiency with AI productivity tools

- Experience collaborating with cross-functional product, support, and sales teams - Background creating training content or learning management system materials
