Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (TS Clearance)

Role overview

A senior full-stack engineer is needed to design and ship resilient web applications and secure APIs that turn intelligence data—including social media, audio, and geolocation streams—into actionable tools for national security analysts. The position mixes product-level ownership with platform-level contributions, embedding directly alongside tactical operators in mission-driven contexts. An active Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and launch high-performance web apps and secure APIs that ingest, visualize, and fuse social media, audio, and geolocation data for mission-critical workflows. - Collaborate closely with Product, Design, subject matter experts, and other engineering teams to translate complex technical requirements into intuitive operator experiences. - Deploy alongside tactical operators, iteratively building, validating, and refining tools in real-world national security scenarios. - Extend and harden the underlying platform, ensuring low-latency data integration and scalable infrastructure that benefits multiple product lines.

Requirements

- Active Top Secret clearance. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, including responsive frontends and production APIs. - Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, and software design. - Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Comfort using AI-assisted coding tools and harness development, plus strong written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

- 2+ years of experience at an early-stage startup (Seed or Series A). - Experience shipping AI products that leverage natural language processing, computer vision, or other machine learning techniques.
