Job Description

Growth at Recraft runs on creative that's tested, not guessed at. We're looking for a Performance Creative Designer who can take that on as their own: reading what's working, turning that into the next round of ads, and shipping creative that holds up on Meta, Google, and TikTok. For the right person, this is a chance to build the performance creative function at Recraft from the ground up, with Recraft Studio itself as your day-to-day production tool.

Key Responsibilities

-

Produce paid ad creative — static, motion, and UGC-style edits — for Meta, Google, and TikTok.

-

Own the creative testing pipeline end to end: form a hypothesis, ship it, read the results, and iterate on winners.

-

Translate performance data (hook rate, CTR) into the next round of creative yourself, rather than waiting for a brief.

-

Use Recraft Studio as your primary production tool, and feed what you learn back to the product team building it.

-

Keep the ad creative brandbook consistent while adapting tone by placement and audience.

Who You'll Work With

You'll join the Marketing team and work closely with our Performance Marketing Manager, UA Manager, and Creative and product teams. This is a role built around bringing your own ideas to the table, not just executing against a detailed brief.

Requirements

-

3+ years creating performance and paid-acquisition creative.

-

A portfolio of ads that actually ran, with context on what won and why.

-

Comfortable with both static and motion work: Figma or Photoshop, plus After Effects, Premiere, or CapCut.

-

Strong understanding of ad anatomy — hooks, the first three seconds, text hierarchy, platform specs, and policy limits.

-

Hands-on experience using AI image or video tools in a real production workflow.

Nice to Have

-

Experience with design tools, creative SaaS, or dev tools (Canva, Picsart, Photoroom, Figma-adjacent products).

-

Vector or 3D skills — a real differentiator given Recraft's vector and brand-style capabilities.

-

Ad copywriting — able to write your own headlines and hooks.

-

In-house experience at a product company, ideally with a subscription product.

-

Experience growing your own audience as a creator or influencer on Instagram or TikTok.

What We Offer

-

A full-time contractor engagement, fully remote, with compensation that matches the seniority and ownership this role carries.

-

Real ownership of the testing pipeline — from hypothesis to shipped ad to the next iteration, not just execution against someone else's brief.

-

A product built on AI image and video generation, growing fast, where your creative work has a direct, measurable line to company results.

-

The chance to be the first person to define what performance creative looks like at Recraft — your test results become the playbook everyone after you works from.

-

Direct collaboration with our Performance Marketing, UA, Creative, and product teams.

-

A team that means it when it says it wants to build the best product in the category — people who give each other direct, useful feedback, share context openly, and step in to help without being asked.
