Senior Fullstack Magento Engineer (Adobe Commerce)

Role overview Take the technical lead on large-scale Adobe Commerce (Magento) platforms, shaping architecture across both the storefront frontend and the underlying services. The position blends hands-on fullstack engineering with strategic thinking, including exploration of agentic workflow patterns alongside conventional e-commerce systems.

Responsibilities - Define and evolve the technical architecture for high-traffic Adobe Commerce installations, balancing performance, maintainability, and scalability. - Build and extend modern storefront frontends that integrate cleanly with backend services and existing commerce data models. - Develop deep backend functionality, including custom modules, integrations, and APIs that support complex catalog, checkout, and customer flows. - Prototype and integrate agentic workflow components that automate or augment merchant operations. - Mentor other engineers, review designs, and set engineering quality standards across the team. - Partner with product, design, and infrastructure counterparts to deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions.

Requirements - Senior-level experience engineering on Adobe Commerce / Magento 2 platforms in production. - Strong fullstack capability across PHP backend development and a modern JavaScript frontend stack. - Proven track record designing architecture for high-scale, traffic-heavy commerce systems. - Comfort owning features end-to-end, from requirements through deployment and ongoing operation. - Ability to communicate architectural decisions clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have - Familiarity with cloud-hosted commerce infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. - Exposure to AI-driven or agent-based automation frameworks applied to e-commerce workflows.
