Senior Field Application Scientist, Northwest AMR

Role overview

Support customers and sales teams as a technical expert for proteomics products and workflows. The role spans product demonstrations, customer evaluations, training, and ongoing troubleshooting, with close collaboration across sales, product, and marketing teams. It is remote and focused on the Northwest AMR region.

Responsibilities

- Build expertise in product protocols, applications, and troubleshooting, and explain how they address proteomics use cases. - Lead technical discussions, seminars, and product evaluations; prepare experimental plans, set expectations, and present demo results. - Onboard customers remotely and onsite, including training on instruments, software, reagents, and workflows. - Coordinate with sales to increase use of installed instruments and manage support cases by email, phone, or site visit. - Diagnose instrument, software, kit, and application issues; initiate repairs or escalate cases through internal channels. - Contribute technical expertise at trade shows and other marketing activities.

Requirements

- Strong background in proteomics and the ability to connect applications with customer needs. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, including explaining technical material to customers. - Ability to plan customer evaluations, deliver training, and troubleshoot complex workflows. - Entrepreneurial, enthusiastic approach and ability to work across sales, product management, market development, and marketing. - Willingness to travel for customer support and onsite activities; the role is remote.
