Senior Project Manager

Role overview

Lead delivery for a client’s data strategy and analytics team, translating business priorities into an organized plan and dependable execution. You’ll manage a new engagement, build confidence with senior stakeholders through clear communication, and help technical teams stay focused as priorities and dependencies evolve.

Responsibilities - Plan and manage delivery scope, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and risks. - Turn stakeholder priorities into a clear, ordered backlog and keep it aligned as needs change. - Establish trust through candid status updates, early risk reporting, and reliable follow-through. - Facilitate planning, reviews, and retrospectives; report progress to client and internal stakeholders. - Surface blockers and cross-team dependencies early, bringing possible responses and a recommendation. - Manage expectations, scope changes, and requests across business and technical groups. - Represent the delivery team in client meetings and identify opportunities to extend the work.

Requirements - At least five years managing technical projects or delivery. - Experience building trust with senior business stakeholders in a client-facing or consulting setting. - Experience running agile delivery and managing technical backlogs, roadmaps, and status reporting. - Working knowledge of data and analytics concepts, such as pipelines, reporting, and dashboards, sufficient to plan work and assess estimates. - Very strong written and spoken English for daily stakeholder collaboration.

Nice to have

Consulting or embedded client-team experience; leadership of data or platform teams; work in data strategy, governance, or business intelligence; a project management or agile certification; experience in retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing; or coordination of distributed teams across time zones.
