Role overview
Lead delivery of hosted managed software services for large financial services clients, from early sales support and requirements discovery through design, testing, and implementation. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams and client stakeholders, keeping complex projects aligned on scope, schedule, budget, and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope from statements of work and requirements, and assess proposed changes for cost and delivery impact. - Build and maintain integrated plans, including critical-path activities, contingencies, and longer-term milestones. - Coordinate internal teams and client stakeholders, align resources, and set clear expectations as needs evolve. - Identify project risks, plan responses, and address issues that could affect delivery. - Define acceptance use cases and success measures, then track testing, issue resolution, change requests, and client sign-off. - Prepare clear status reports, presentations, diagrams, and other project documentation; improve delivery practices based on lessons learned.
Requirements
- University degree and Project Management Professional certification. - At least six years managing technical projects for external clients, including large financial services organizations. - At least six years working for a SaaS software solutions provider. - Experience managing large, complex client engagements and tightly controlling scope. - Background in pre-sales support and business process consulting. - Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to motivate teams and explain solution value to client stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with customer communications management, managed services software, or large retail banking or insurance environments. - Additional credentials in Scrum, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or IT service management. - Familiarity with project planning and diagramming tools, office productivity software, cloud services, or sales and issue-tracking platforms.
