About this role
Role overview Own iOS features from design through release and production monitoring, helping deliver polished, reliable mobile experiences. The role combines hands-on development with architecture improvements, production troubleshooting, and mentorship within a cross-functional product team.
Responsibilities - Design, build, test, and release iOS features and accessible mobile interfaces. - Maintain integrations with APIs, authentication, local storage, and background processes. - Diagnose and resolve crashes, concurrency issues, memory problems, and performance bottlenecks. - Monitor production behavior and improve architecture, development tools, and release practices. - Strengthen automated coverage, review code, and mentor engineers through constructive technical guidance. - Participate in production support and coordinate with backend, Android, QA, product, and design colleagues.
Requirements - At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including substantial experience shipping native iOS applications. - Strong Swift skills and experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit. - Knowledge of the iOS lifecycle, concurrency, networking, and API integration. - Experience writing and maintaining mobile automated tests and resolving production issues. - Understanding of mobile security, accessibility, application signing, CI/CD, and App Store releases. - Ability to independently develop and maintain production-quality software, collaborate clearly, and assess AI-generated code responsibly while protecting sensitive information.
Nice to have - Experience with social, creator, community, media-heavy, or real-time mobile products, including feeds, messaging, or publishing. - Mobile performance optimization, observability, frequent-release product work, or contributions to engineering standards.
