IT Support & Logistics Specialist

Role overview Keep a distributed workforce equipped and productive by combining first-line IT support with device and shipment coordination. You’ll manage equipment through employee onboarding and offboarding, maintain accurate asset records, and help colleagues resolve routine technical issues. The position is fully remote and based in Mexico.

Responsibilities - Prepare, configure, and test laptops and peripherals for new employees, and coordinate delivery timelines. - Manage offboarding equipment recovery, including collection arrangements, shipping labels, and return tracking. - Maintain asset records covering assignments, serial numbers, locations, shipment status, and lifecycle stage. - Coordinate deliveries, collections, and returns with shipping providers and external vendors; follow up on delays or other issues. - Provide first-line support for common device, application, connectivity, peripheral, and account-access problems, escalating complex incidents. - Keep employees informed about support requests and equipment logistics, and document processes and outstanding work.

Requirements - At least one year of experience in IT support, help desk, IT operations, or a related role. - Practical familiarity with Windows and basic macOS troubleshooting, device setup, peripherals, and standard workplace applications. - Professional Spanish and English at B1 level or higher for communication with international colleagues and providers. - Strong organization and follow-through, including the ability to keep inventories accurate and manage multiple tasks independently. - Clear, service-oriented communication and judgment about when to resolve issues or escalate them. - Familiarity with ticketing, remote support, SaaS, or asset-management tools; experience with onboarding, equipment inventories, or logistics is desirable.

Nice to have - A qualification in IT, computer systems, computer science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also relevant. - Experience coordinating device provisioning, employee transitions, or shipments.
