Job details
About this role
Role overview A remote, project-based opportunity for an experienced 3D or VFX artist to contribute existing computer-generated scenes and assets to work supporting video-generation research. The work combines licensing suitable material from your archive with paid technical preparation; eligibility for assignments depends on project demand and profile fit.
Responsibilities - Offer suitable existing personal or studio assets for licensing under a flat-fee arrangement. - Render and organize selected files into layers that meet project data specifications. - Prepare scenes for compositing and technical review. - When requested, create scene variations and render them again.
Requirements - Professional experience as a 3D, technical, or VFX artist, or compositor, in games, film, or digital production. - Familiarity with tools such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Houdini, Maya, Blender, or Cinema 4D. - Strong skills in rendering, lighting, and texturing. - Comfort working with technical workflows and file-preparation requirements. - Existing licensable assets, ideally with scenes organized into coherent, compositable layers.
Nice to have - Experience in game production. - Ability to provide passes or components such as depth, albedo, shading, gloss, or cryptomatte. - Experience handling complex occlusion, atmospheric effects, or crowd dynamics.
Benefits and work setup Work is remote and ad hoc, with a flat fee for licensed assets and hourly compensation for technical processing. This is an eligibility pool rather than a guaranteed ongoing assignment; opportunities are offered as projects arise and profiles match. The work may help improve control and quality in AI video generation.
