Role overview
The Data Analyst will own end-to-end analytics for a global, two-sided marketplace that supplies high-quality human-generated data to AI researchers and development teams. The position centers on sustaining a healthy and scalable participant pool by translating marketplace behavior into experiments, dashboards, and decisions that shape long-term supply health. It is a high-autonomy role embedded across Product, Operations, Growth, and Data Science in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and own metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that cover the full participant lifecycle, from acquisition and onboarding through activation, engagement, quality, retention, and reactivation - Build analyses using SQL and Python (including pandas-based experimentation tooling and automation) to convert raw marketplace data into executive-ready insight - Partner with Product, Operations, Growth, and Data Science to identify opportunities, scope hypotheses, and structure A/B and operational experiments - Connect operational and behavioral metrics to financial outcomes such as revenue and margin so commercial impact is clearly understood - Translate complex marketplace and cohort analyses into concise, decision-ready recommendations that shape strategy and execution - Operate with autonomy to set priorities, challenge assumptions, and drive initiatives from problem definition through implementation
Requirements
- Advanced SQL and strong Python proficiency, with experience in pandas, experimentation analysis, and automation - Track record of building scalable reporting frameworks in modern BI tools such as Metabase, Looker, or Tableau - Experience analyzing user acquisition, onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, churn, and behavioral cohorts - Hands-on experience designing and analyzing A/B or operational experiments, with solid grounding in statistics and causal reasoning - Strong grasp of B2B and two-sided marketplace metrics and economics - Demonstrated ability to partner across Product, Operations, Commercial, and Finance functions in a fast-paced setting
