About this role
Role overview This position owns end-to-end analytics for one or more business areas within a telehealth organization. The analyst transforms ambiguous business questions into actionable insight that improves patient care, optimizes platform operations, and informs key decisions across the company. The role partners directly with finance, operations, customer success, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities - Manage analytics workstreams from problem framing through to final recommendation - Scope ambiguous business questions into structured analyses with limited guidance on approach - Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources - Apply statistical techniques using SQL, Excel, R, or Python to surface trends, patterns, and anomalies - Build and maintain KPI frameworks, dashboards, and visualizations used by stakeholders - Partner with cross-functional teams to shape data requirements and influence business outcomes - Identify and drive improvements to data collection and analysis processes
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field - 3-5 years of experience as a data analyst or similar role - Demonstrated hands-on SQL depth, able to write and troubleshoot queries independently - Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI - Proven ability to work independently through ambiguity while managing competing priorities - Strong communication skills for translating complex data into stakeholder-ready recommendations
