Product Manager Third-Party Solutions for Security Technology (m/f/d) 12-Month Maternity Leave Cover

Role overview Manage the introduction of partner products into a security technology portfolio on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering a leave period. You’ll coordinate technical integration work between internal development teams and external partners, while also assessing new solutions and helping bring them to market. The role combines product ownership, technical project coordination, and commercial support.

Responsibilities - Coordinate integration of third-party solutions, such as video, intrusion detection, and building management, with access control and time-recording products. - Serve as the working contact between partner developers and internal R&D, aligning interfaces, scope, schedules, and updates. - Write requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; participate in sprint reviews and integration testing. - Identify cross-team blockers early and work through them to keep integration delivery moving. - Research potential partners, compare products, and maintain a pipeline with feasibility reviews and gap analyses. - Contribute to business cases, pricing, partner agreements, sales materials, training, and ongoing solution improvements.

Requirements - Degree or comparable qualification in business informatics, computer science, industrial engineering, or a related discipline. - Two to four years in product management, product ownership, technical project management, or solution engineering; integration or API work is especially relevant. - Enough technical understanding to read API documentation, discuss integration approaches, and estimate effort with developers. - Strong communication and relationship skills, with confidence representing business needs to technical partners. - Ability to learn complex topics quickly and take increasing ownership of ongoing work. - Business-fluent English; German is an advantage. Regular use of AI tools at work, with examples of their impact, is expected.
