About this role
Role overview
Lead product work for the systems and workflows that match school needs with available clinical capacity. The role combines service design, operational discovery, and software product leadership: you’ll map how districts, clinicians, and internal teams work together, then turn friction and manual processes into scalable tools and clearer user experiences.
Responsibilities - Map end-to-end service journeys, including user touchpoints, internal handoffs, systems, and third-party data flows. - Observe operational teams and investigate bottlenecks, workarounds, and unmet needs before defining product changes. - Design intuitive workflows for internal users and reduce unnecessary effort in their day-to-day work. - Define where automation can handle matching and capacity constraints, and where staff need decision support or exception queues. - Assess build-versus-buy choices and guide integrations across operational systems. - Lead cross-functional product initiatives and track outcomes such as matching speed, referral coverage, and adoption.
Requirements - Eight or more years of product management experience, including ownership of complex systems, marketplace, fulfillment, or enterprise workflow products. - Strong discovery skills, including interviewing non-technical operators and finding root causes behind feature requests. - Experience designing internal user workflows and service blueprints across people, processes, policies, and technology. - Track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives and measuring their impact. - Commercial judgment and comfort with measures such as capacity use, fill rates, and margin. - Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and align stakeholders around a prioritized roadmap.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first environment with core availability from noon to 5 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday; standard hours are 9 a.m.–6 p.m. local time. - Up to 10% travel may be required for team and partner engagement. - Annual base salary range of $130,000–$160,000. Benefits include health coverage, paid time off, retirement savings with a company match, home office support, parental and caregiving leave, and professional development opportunities.
