About this role
Role overview This role sits inside an internal IT function and owns identity, access, and license operations across a SaaS-heavy environment. The analyst makes sure teammates have the right access at the right time, that entitlements are structured by role rather than improvisation, and that license spend is tracked, right-sized, and reclaimed when unused.
Responsibilities - Process access, license, and entitlement requests through the ticketing system within SLA, with approvals captured on every request - Structure and maintain Okta entitlements using groups, roles, and app assignment rules, while cleaning up one-off assignments - Track seat counts and utilization per SaaS application, reclaim unused seats, flag over-provisioning, and partner with Operations on license budgets - Run periodic access reviews and support onboarding of acquired teams, including access mapping, entitlement design, and license consolidation - Apply AI tooling to streamline and optimize access and license workflows
Requirements - Two or more years in IT helpdesk, IT support, or identity and access support - Familiarity with Okta or another identity provider for user, group, and application administration - Comfort reconciling license counts, utilization, and cost data in spreadsheets - Experience with ticketing systems and formal approval workflows - Detail-oriented with clear written communication and a polite, firm approach to gating approvals - Advanced spoken and written English (B2 or higher) with availability overlapping US business hours
