About this role
Role overview A Canadian digital insurance company focused on simplifying and making financial protection more affordable for families is hiring a Marketing Designer, Web to elevate the visual quality of its marketing website. The role centers on designing, improving, and maintaining a Webflow-based marketing site, turning Growth briefs into polished, component-led pages, and owning quality through launch, with select opportunities to support campaign creative, slides, ads, email UI, and other brand assets.
Responsibilities - Translate Growth and Content briefs into polished Figma designs for landing pages, product pages, editorial hubs, and campaigns. - Build clear, conversion-aware, accessible, and responsive layouts using an existing design system and component library. - Design new components when needed, extending the design system in a cohesive, reusable way. - Improve the marketing site's everyday surfaces, including navigation, and own quality through launch. - Communicate clearly through useful specs, give developers actionable feedback, and work effectively with non-design partners.
Requirements - 2–4 years of experience in marketing, web, brand, or related digital design; exceptional portfolios matter more than an exact number of years. - A portfolio of highly polished marketing websites or landing pages, with evidence of breadth across formats such as campaigns, motion, illustration, presentations, ads, or email. - Excellent Figma skills and a sharp eye for typography, spacing, composition, hierarchy, image selection, and responsive behavior. - Experience with a CMS or no-code/low-code site builder; Webflow experience is welcome but not required. - Ability to work within and thoughtfully extend an existing component system, with a meticulous, reliable approach to quality and ownership of both launches and routine maintenance.
Nice to have - Webflow experience including CMS collections, global components, slots and variables, responsive page building, or publishing workflows. - Basic HTML/CSS literacy and experience briefing or QAing agency or freelance developer work. - Background in high-trust, regulated, consumer-facing, or content-heavy businesses, with familiarity in accessibility, localization, SEO-aware templates, or conversion-oriented web design.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first team based in Canada, with optional access to a Toronto office. - Generous PTO including 20 vacation days. - Comprehensive benefits plan with premiums paid in full. - Professional development support including an L&D budget, AI tooling budget, twice-yearly performance reviews, and ongoing feedback. - Twice-yearly in-person company socials; stock options based on performance. - Total target cash compensation of $95,000–$115,000 CAD, depending on experience.
