This senior role sits within a studio developing large-scale sandbox simulation games built around engineering, construction, physics, and player creativity. The position blends hands-on visual creation with strategic ownership of how the franchise is presented across marketing channels, rather than purely executing briefs. The successful candidate will help shape the visual direction of promotional materials and push quality standards across campaigns and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Define, maintain, and evolve the visual brand identity across marketing materials, platforms, and campaigns - Produce key visuals, promotional screenshots, beauty shots, store and platform assets, banners, splash screens, logos, social media graphics, and event materials - Capture, compose, and post-process in-game imagery to meet strong promotional quality standards - Adapt key visuals into multiple formats, resolutions, and platform requirements while preserving consistency - Collaborate with artists, marketing, and production teams to align each asset with its purpose and audience - Identify workflow, template, and production efficiency improvements, particularly for recurring marketing assets
Requirements
- Six or more years of professional experience as a Marketing Artist, 2D Artist, or Graphic Designer in the video game industry on PC or console titles - Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video game marketing and promotional artwork - Proven experience creating and evolving brand identities across multiple marketing channels and asset types - Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator - Solid understanding of composition, typography, color, lighting, and visual hierarchy - Hands-on experience producing assets for Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and similar gaming platforms - Working knowledge of 3D tools such as Blender, Unreal Engine, or Unity - Basic experience with motion graphics or animation tools such as Adobe After Effects - Fluent spoken and written English
Nice to have
- Motion graphics or video editing experience - Familiarity with Figma - UI/UX or in-game UI design background - Previous work on sci-fi, simulation, or technically oriented games
