Senior Product Manager

Role overview Lead hands-on product management for an early-stage platform that helps educators and students create AI-powered learning tools. You’ll shape product capabilities, deepen how tools use educational and organizational context, and help establish responsible safety practices. This first product management role combines execution and strategy, with direct input from users and close collaboration across technical, design, learning and partnership teams.

Responsibilities - Set priorities, write clear specifications and guide work from design through engineering and launch. - Break complex builds into manageable increments that test assumptions and reduce delivery risk. - Make and communicate tradeoffs when scope, time and resources compete. - Gather educator feedback, product usage data and partner insights to inform decisions. - Establish lightweight product rituals, documentation and decision practices as the team grows. - Coordinate with learning, partnerships, design, engineering and machine learning colleagues to turn field needs into usable products. - Advance product capabilities, contextual knowledge features, moderation and other safety systems.

Requirements - At least seven years of product management experience, including work in an early-stage or high-growth setting where you built processes. - Experience leading AI-enabled or technically complex products and working closely with engineering and machine learning teams. - Strong writing and detail orientation, including the ability to produce actionable requirements. - Ability to make sound decisions with incomplete information and move work forward incrementally. - Clear communication of technical and product tradeoffs to varied audiences. - Interest in education, equity or mission-driven work.

Nice to have - Edtech experience or familiarity with K–12 or higher education environments. - Experience with platforms where users create tools or content, or with responsible AI, moderation or trust and safety. - Familiarity with AI and large language model products.
