Director, Product Strategy and Operations

Role overview Lead product operations for a direct-to-consumer digital product organization, turning business and product strategy into practical plans, decision processes, and coordinated execution. This senior role partners with product executives and leaders across engineering, design, data, and business teams to improve how multiple product areas set priorities and deliver complex work.

Responsibilities - Define the product operations strategy and operating model across the supported product areas. - Translate strategy into priorities, plans, and repeatable ways of working. - Establish planning rhythms, including roadmap and portfolio reviews, leadership forums, and annual and quarterly planning. - Maintain a shared view of priorities, investments, dependencies, risks, and commitments. - Create governance and decision frameworks that clarify ownership, tradeoffs, escalation, and accountability. - Lead cross-functional programs, address systemic delivery barriers, set standards for core product practices, and develop product operations talent.

Requirements - Extensive experience in product operations, program or product management, business operations, or a similar leadership role in a technology or digital product organization. - Experience leading an operations or program management capability that supports multiple product and technical teams. - Ability to work with senior leaders to turn strategy into functional plans and organizational execution. - Strong understanding of product development, portfolio management, roadmaps, prioritization, operating models, and cross-functional delivery. - Track record of building scalable operating practices and governance for complex or ambiguous work. - Excellent executive communication, synthesis, and influencing skills, including the ability to reconcile competing perspectives and guide teams through others. - Experience developing talent and setting clear accountability; collaborative, practical leadership style.
