About this role

Role overview

Lead the development of practical internal AI products that turn repetitive or inefficient business processes into measurable, reusable workflows. Working within a centralized AI operations function, you will partner with teams such as Finance, Revenue Operations, People, Recruiting, Customer Success, Marketing, and Legal; the initial focus is expected to be Finance and Revenue Operations, with later work driven by the highest-value opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Map current-state business processes with stakeholders before selecting or configuring AI solutions. - Build and manage a portfolio of internal AI tools, agentic workflows, and prompt-based copilots, taking projects from prototype through production. - Evaluate capabilities already available in purchased tools and extend shared AI infrastructure instead of creating unnecessary parallel systems. - Establish standards for evaluation, human review, rollout readiness, monitoring, documentation, and post-launch improvement. - Define success measures, instrument usage, track adoption, and communicate the return on AI investment. - Drive responsible adoption through workshops, onboarding, office hours, coaching, and practical guardrails.

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience building and shipping AI or agentic systems that solve real operational problems; a portfolio or GitHub-equivalent body of work is expected. - Strong process-mapping and product-management skills, with the judgment to identify where automation will create meaningful leverage. - Ability to move beyond experimentation and complete the difficult final steps required for reliable production use. - Self-directed curiosity about emerging AI tools and the ability to translate technical possibilities into practical workflows. - Strong cross-functional communication and comfort working with varied internal stakeholders.

Benefits and work setup

The role is described as remote-first and includes at least six trips per year for team gatherings, workshops, and company events. Listed benefits include equity participation, paid time off, health and welfare coverage, parental leave, connectivity support, family-building and wellness benefits, and an annual learning and development stipend.
