Senior Data Engineer

Role overview Build and scale the data foundation used for analytics, experimentation, and company decision-making. This role works across blockchain data, product analytics, and marketing integrations, shaping architecture and data practices in a lean team supporting a rapidly growing product.

Responsibilities - Design reliable data architecture for hundreds of terabytes of data and substantial future growth while maintaining performance. - Establish data quality practices, monitoring, and observability so teams can trust data accuracy and freshness. - Lead scalable data modeling and schema design to support business growth and efficient analysis. - Build and expand A/B testing infrastructure to support evidence-based product decisions. - Work with data science, product, and engineering partners to turn business needs into maintainable data solutions. - Mentor colleagues on data practices and promote effective use of data across teams.

Requirements - At least five years building and scaling data infrastructure in high-growth environments. - Experience in startup settings, independently driving initiatives and adapting across different responsibilities. - Strong experience with modern data platforms, particularly Snowflake and dbt. - Deep knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and large-scale data architecture. - Practical experience implementing data quality frameworks and observability. - Experience building experimentation infrastructure, expert SQL skills, and proficiency in Python.

Nice to have - Familiarity with tools such as Rudderstack, Sigma Computing, Metaplane, or Eppo. - Experience with blockchain or cryptocurrency data, dashboard performance, query optimization, data catalogs, or metadata management.
