Role overview
Support the architecture, sustainment, integration, and operational readiness of core and fielded systems in a mission-focused environment. This role connects developers, engineers, stakeholders, and external partners to maintain system functionality, clarify requirements, support technical solutions, and enable deployment across distributed mission frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain operational processes, technical documentation, and procedures for system sustainment. - Gather, analyze, and manage system requirements that guide technical solution development and enhancements. - Support deployment and integration of system capabilities across mission environments and partner frameworks. - Coordinate with internal teams and external organizations as a primary technical point of contact. - Collaborate with developers and engineers on system functionality, interoperability, and planned improvements. - Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support for fielded systems. - Help ensure integration across distributed systems and mission environments.
Requirements
- At least eight years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, six years with a master’s degree, or three years with a doctorate. - An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance. - Experience deploying and managing both Windows and Linux systems. - Experience deploying and administering virtualized environments. - DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification, such as Security+ or a higher-level equivalent.

- Remote support role for the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC area. - Local presence in the DC metropolitan area is required for occasional work from an office in Reston, Virginia.
