Role overview
Support enterprise and major-account sales by translating complex customer processes, systems, and business goals into practical cloud-software solutions. This consultative, customer-facing role blends discovery, solution design, demonstrations, technical communication, and sales partnership to produce secure, durable, high-value outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Investigate business problems and requirements across a defined territory and account portfolio. - Map customer systems, information flows, and operational needs to suitable platform capabilities. - Build confidence in recommendations through tailored demonstrations, technical discussions, workflow designs, process diagrams, and RFP/RFI responses. - Explain proposed solutions clearly to stakeholders and guide them toward an appropriate long-term approach. - Partner with sales on revenue plans while contributing product expertise throughout the opportunity lifecycle. - Promote secure electronic-signature practices and share methods, processes, and relevant certifications.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of pre-sales experience with mid-market or enterprise SaaS solutions. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience. - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across organizational levels. - Demonstrated ability to deliver software demonstrations both virtually and in person. - Experience creating technical business materials such as workflow diagrams, proposals, statements of work, RFPs, and RFIs. - Willingness to travel approximately 45% or more as business needs require.
Nice to have
- Eight or more years of enterprise cloud-SaaS pre-sales experience. - Familiarity with ERP, CRM, ECM, web services, SOAP or REST APIs, HTML, XML, structured data, and electronic-signature concepts. - Experience with integrations, web-based solutions, or complex business-process environments.
