Senior Front End Engineer

Role overview

Build and evolve frontend applications used by staff at attractions and venues to manage ticketing, point of sale, and day-to-day operations. The role combines hands-on product engineering with ownership of shared frontend tools and AI-assisted development practices across a remote team.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain Vue and Nuxt applications for ticketing, sales, and back-office configuration. - Build shared SDKs, component libraries, and starter tooling for frontend teams. - Use AI coding agents in feature work, creating workflows and guardrails and reviewing changes before they are merged. - Work with product and design partners to clarify requirements and flag gaps in specifications. - Maintain engineering quality through code review, testing, and attention to accessibility and performance.

Requirements - At least five years of frontend development experience, including two or more years with Vue and TypeScript. - Strong Vue 3 skills, familiarity with Vue 2, and experience with component architecture and Pinia or Vuex. - Experience with Nuxt or a similar framework, Vite, REST APIs, shared SDKs, and form validation. - Sound testing and delivery practices, including experience with tools such as Vitest, Vue Test Utils, and CI. - Ability to reason about system tradeoffs, edge cases, and performance across browser applications and build pipelines. - Regular use of AI coding tools, with the judgment to assess generated code, identify risks, and take responsibility for merged work. - Clear, constructive communication and the ability to scope ambiguous work and collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

- Experience with CI/CD, GitLab CI, Docker, cloud infrastructure, frontend observability, or internal npm package publishing. - Background building shared design systems or working on B2B or point-of-sale products.
