Lead Software Solutions Architect

Role overview Lead the architecture of cloud based software solutions, shaping systems that are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business goals. The role combines hands on technical work with architectural direction, stakeholder collaboration, and coaching across engineering teams.

Responsibilities - Design system architectures and patterns for cloud native solutions, using AWS and suitable software technologies. - Assess frameworks and tools against project needs, and help define technical roadmaps with stakeholders. - Work with product, engineering, quality assurance, and DevOps colleagues to translate requirements into solutions and support delivery. - Contribute directly to coding and design discussions, review code, and guide implementation choices. - Coach team members, encourage knowledge sharing, and provide constructive feedback on quality and maintainability. - Improve engineering practices and use performance and reliability metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements - Expertise in software and cloud architecture, including designing scalable and reliable systems. - Experience with AWS and cloud native solution design. - Ability to connect technical decisions to business objectives and communicate plans to stakeholders. - Practical technical leadership, including code review, problem solving, and hands on engineering contribution. - Strength in mentoring teams and working across disciplines.
