About this role

Role overview This role owns the commercial success of single-cell sequencing product lines used by research labs around the world. The position bridges customers, product development, sales, support, and marketing teams to drive market development, product launches, and customer advocacy. It is a cross-functional role centered on translating scientific needs into clear product strategy and positioning.

Responsibilities - Manage market development and on-market support for current and future products in single-cell sequencing product lines - Define market needs and requirements for new product concepts and development initiatives - Engage directly with customers to advocate for the user experience and identify product strengths and improvement areas - Evaluate market opportunities within customer segments to shape strategic initiatives - Track and communicate the competitive landscape, updates, and opportunities to executive management and product teams - Develop technical collateral, presentation decks, and market positioning to support sales and commercial partner efforts - Coordinate the preparation and launch of new product introductions

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in genomics or a related field; Master's degree or PhD preferred - 5+ years of experience in genomics, preferably single-cell or a closely related field, with a Bachelor's; 3+ years with a Master's or PhD - Demonstrated experience bringing a new product to market - Proven ability to collaborate across product development, sales, support, and marketing teams - Ability to travel regularly to the Seattle-area headquarters, potentially monthly or more, for collaboration and planning if not locally based

Nice to have - Familiarity with single-cell applications spanning cancer research, tissue repair, stem cell therapy, kidney and liver disease, brain development, and immunology
