Senior Product Manager - Reconciliation

Role overview Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a reconciliation platform that underpins the accuracy and integrity of money-movement and core financial systems at a fintech. The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, finance, operations, and accounting, focusing on the controls and tooling needed for strong governance and end-to-end auditability as the company scales and pursues a bank charter.

Responsibilities - Lead the multi-year evolution of the reconciliation platform, including the critical work tied to a bank-charter track. - Partner deeply with engineers to understand schemas, transformations, dependencies, and failure modes across money-movement systems. - Collaborate with Product, Accounting, Finance, and Reconciliation Operations to define priorities and shared deliverables. - Evolve the platform for long-term scale, simplifying integration so teams across the company benefit from unified systems. - Build internal tools that help teams detect, investigate, root-cause, and report on discrepancies. - Bring structure to a highly cross-functional problem space, balancing near-term operational needs with long-term platform leverage.

Requirements - 7+ years of product management experience on technical platforms, infrastructure, data products, or similarly complex systems. - Strong systems thinking with a bias toward reusable primitives and durable platform solutions rather than one-off fixes. - Track record of independently driving ambiguous work from problem definition through delivery. - Cross-functional partnership skills with the ability to weigh competing needs and make clear prioritization calls. - Comfort operating at two altitudes: near-term execution and a clear long-term point of view for the platform. - Deep commitment to correctness, reliability, and the details that make internal systems trustworthy.

Nice to have Prior work on platform products involving audits, financial controls, or regulatory requirements; building or managing payments, ledgers, accounting, financial operations, or data infrastructure systems; and shipping internal platforms that serve many downstream teams. Reconciliation experience is not required.

Benefits and work setup Compensation includes base salary plus equity (stock options or RSUs) and benefits. Target US base salary range $200,700–$250,900 USD; Canadian range $189,700–$237,100 CAD. Ranges are calibrated against SaaS and fintech market data and adjusted for experience, expertise, location, and internal pay equity.
