Senior Business Systems Analyst, Finance

Role overview

This is a senior, hands-on techno-functional position embedded within an Enterprise Business Systems team, focused on the NetSuite ERP platform. The role serves as the primary liaison and subject matter expert between Accounting and Finance stakeholders and the technology environment, owning configuration, customization, integration, and ongoing enhancement work in a multi-subsidiary organization.

Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact, subject matter expert, and business relationship manager for Accounting and Finance teams using NetSuite - Build and customize reports, saved searches, and dashboards within NetSuite - Perform basic ERP configuration, including adding new fields, forms, and custom records - Document and propose solution designs based on accounting and finance business requirements - Coordinate larger, complex integration projects to and from NetSuite on behalf of Accounting and Finance - Manage intake, prioritization, design, and implementation of NetSuite administration requests - Contribute to projects spanning business process improvement, customization enhancement, GAAP and SOX compliance, and new module rollouts - Collaborate with internal teams and external NetSuite consulting partners on strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with platform best practices

Requirements

- 6+ years in IT Business Systems Analysis or Consulting, leading financial system enhancements and ERP implementations (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar) - 3+ years of NetSuite administration or NetSuite consulting experience - 2+ years working with organizations operating under GAAP and SOX - Strong functional knowledge of core accounting, Inventory and COGS, and finance processes within NetSuite workflows - Proficiency mapping and documenting business processes using tools such as Confluence, Visio, or Miro - Experience designing and implementing custom solutions in NetSuite - Working knowledge of integration approaches: iPaaS platforms (Workato or similar), APIs, or direct point-to-point connections - Experience with OneWorld or multi-subsidiary multinational environments operating on NetSuite - Proactive project management and communication skills on large ERP implementation or enhancement projects - Familiarity with supply chain, Order Management, Pricing, Inventory, CRM, and CPQ systems

Nice to have

- NetSuite SuiteScript or JavaScript experience - NetSuite Administrator Certification or other NetSuite certification - CPA, CITP, or CISA certification - Experience using the Multi-Book Accounting feature within NetSuite
