Role overview Join a Special Investigations Unit (SIU) as a Senior Analyst supporting data analytics that reduce waste and improve affordability across healthcare operations. The role partners across business functions to scope, analyze, and monitor key financial and utilization metrics, presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. It reports to the SIU Data Analytics & Reporting Manager and is fully remote within eligible U.S. states.
Responsibilities - Analyze datasets to surface insights that inform business decisions and reduce operational inefficiencies - Translate analytical findings into clear narratives and presentations for non-technical stakeholders - Build and maintain operational and analytical dashboards, evolving them as user needs change - Develop models and tooling that identify waste and recommend process improvements - Track initiative impact and collaborate across teams to drive measurable gains - Support additional strategic projects and ensure work complies with applicable laws and regulations
Requirements - 1+ years of technical experience using analytical tools and producing written reports - 1+ years working with large datasets and distilling insights through structured, systematic analysis - Demonstrated communication skills across at least two reporting projects bridging technical and non-technical users - Proficiency in SQL (filters, aggregations, CTEs) or in R/Python (Pandas, loops, statistical tests) - Strong Google Sheets or Excel skills, including VLookup, nested ifs, and connected sheets - 1+ years in healthcare, finance, or insurance
Nice to have - 1+ years in healthcare analytics and reporting - 1+ years managing value-based contracts at a payer or provider organization (ACO, CIN, MSO) - Dashboard development in Looker or similar BI tools - Familiarity with contract negotiations, risk adjustment, ACA marketplace, quality of care, or population health
Benefits and work setup Fully remote for U.S. residents in eligible states, with occasional travel for team and company events. Base pay ranges from $86,628 to $109,761 in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington, and $75,265 to $98,785 in all other eligible locations. Eligible for benefits, an unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.
