Remote job
Implementation Manager
Job details
About this role
Role overview Own the technical delivery of client implementations for a virtual-care platform, turning an approved solution into a working, tested, production-ready service. The individual-contributor role spans configuration, integrations, data, testing, deployment, and stabilization; a technical project manager coordinates the overall plan while this role owns technical decisions and readiness.
Responsibilities - Break approved requirements into technical work across configuration, integrations, data, environments, testing, deployment, and documentation. - Configure platform workflows using established standards and reusable patterns, and connect client or third-party systems through APIs, webhooks, authentication, and data mapping. - Perform data cleanup, migration, transformation, backfills, and reconciliation; use SQL, logs, payloads, and configuration tools to investigate issues. - Build event-driven automation and work directly with client technical teams to clarify requirements, exchange specifications, and validate behavior. - Test end-to-end workflows, including failures, retries, duplicate events, permissions, data integrity, and external dependencies; prepare for UAT and resolve defects. - Support technical readiness through launch and production stabilization, documenting the implementation and escalating genuine product gaps with clear evidence.
Requirements - 3–6+ years in implementation, integration, solutions, customer, application, consulting, or support engineering. - Demonstrated hands-on delivery of technical solutions for external customers, beyond project coordination alone. - Experience with APIs, webhooks, authentication, structured payloads, data mapping, third-party integrations, and complex SaaS configuration. - Background in data migration or transformation and ability to use SQL and debugging tools to investigate application behavior. - Experience testing cross-system workflows, troubleshooting with logs and reproducible scenarios, and supporting UAT, go-live, and stabilization. - Strong customer communication and technical documentation skills, with sound judgment about implementation work versus product defects.
Nice to have - Healthcare technology experience, such as virtual care, EHRs, pharmacy, labs, clinical workflows, revenue-cycle management, or provider data. - Familiarity with REST APIs, event triggers, low-code automation, DNS, SMTP, API clients, monitoring tools, and cloud development environments. - Ability to modify lightweight scripts in Python, JavaScript, GraphQL, or a similar language; familiarity with deployment workflows, configuration versioning, and automated tests. - Experience using AI-assisted development tools responsibly or delivering implementations in a high-growth environment.
Benefits and work setup The role offers remote-work flexibility, generous PTO, medical, dental, and vision coverage, FSA/HSA options, a 401(k) with company match, and life and pet insurance. Compensation is described as competitive.
