Senior AI Strategist, Operations
Job details
About this role
Role overview Help clients find operational problems where AI can make a measurable difference, define what should be built, and guide adoption through to live results. You’ll own the business side of a client workstream, working directly with finance and operations teams while partnering with an engineer responsible for architecture and delivery and an engagement lead responsible for the client relationship.
Responsibilities - Work with client teams to understand how operations run and identify where work gets delayed or stuck. - Assess whether AI is a good fit for a business problem and agree on the intended outcome with the client. - Define what needs to be built and why, in close partnership with the engineering lead. - Lead changes to operational workflows as the system is introduced. - Follow the work after launch and evaluate whether it delivers the expected business results. - Take part in discovery, go-live, and executive review sessions when in-person collaboration is useful.
Requirements - The description emphasizes practical engagement with finance and operations teams and a willingness to work directly with the people doing the work. - Ability to connect business priorities and operational bottlenecks to a clear case for building an AI system. - Comfort making trade-offs with engineers and helping teams change how they work after deployment.
Benefits and work setup - Remote role within Europe, with client travel for key discovery, launch, or review sessions.
